I have been working with Cathy at Richmond Workout for almost 3 years and it has been a wonderful experience from day one! There are several things that make her an outstanding trainer and I will mention the few that mean the most to me: First, she absolutely knows what she is doing. She has the education, knowledge and experience, not only to get results, but to do it safely and avoid injury. This was critically important to me because there are a lot of young people out there who call themselves "trainers" that I just don't believe have the knowledge and experience I would be comfortable or confident in. Not only does Cathy have a Masters in Kinesiology (exercise science), she is a critical care medic (suffice it to say – I feel I am in the best of hands). Second, and equally important, Cathy is someone who, as a person, I look forward to seeing every week. She has such a positive attitude and is very motivating and encouraging. Her workouts are creative and I am NEVER BORED. Third, she gets results and, she really cares about that – you can tell that she wants you to achieve your goals and that it's important to her, as a professional, that you achieve your goals. She sincerely cares about her clients and I'm so glad I found someone that I can trust to be my partner in achieving better health! I would highly recommend Cathy and Richmond Workout!!

I have been working out with Cathy for almost a year now and I have really gotten incredible results ( I also focused on my eating habits too- it wasn't easy)!! When I started working out with her, I couldn't do more than 3 push-ups or work out at a high intensity longer than 45 minutes. Now my strength, endurance, and cardio ability have increased tenfold and I am amazed with how hard I can workout. I couldn't have even run a 5th of a mile without stopping last year, but now I am running 2-3 miles everyday. It's awesome and I love it! I have never had abs either and the core exercises Cathy has you do make your abs strong and defined and really improve your cardio endurance. The truly best part of working out with Cathy though is her personality. She is always in a GREAT mood and is so motivating! She has her own personal gym so you don't have to workout with others around and she is constantly looking up new exercises so you are NEVER doing the same routine. There is no mistaking that her true passion is safe, fun workouts and getting her clients results. She sends out emails about nutrition and gives tips for recipes and what types of food you should eat to get the results that you want. I would recommend her to anyone who is serious about getting in shape and looking for a highly motivating, very friendly personal trainer who knows what she is doing and is highly certified.
